Bar Cart Styling

I am excited to say that the bar cart trend is here to stay. Timeless and chic the use of a bar cart is a great way to make your bar a functional and decorative part of your home. Here are my favorite ways to style a bar cart. Inspired by the timelessness of the 1960s and 70s, I want to channel the chicness of the Mad Men era every time I make a cocktail or pour myself a glass of wine. Now, if only I could get Betty Draper’s wardrobe.

1. I love the ornamental look of a gold or bronze bar cart. This one from Furbish is a little bit of a splurge, but let me let you in on a little secret, Target has an amazing bar cart for a fraction of the price. You could always spray paint it gold. Also, here are some other options from West Elm and Society Social.

2. I love this party print I found on Etsy. It is a great way to add decor to the bar and remind you or your guests that it is time to let loose and have a good time.

3. A bar cart would not be complete without wine, especially my favorite La Crema vintages. I am a huge fan of the Arroyo Seco Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

4. Fun cocktail napkins are a must. These are fabric and machine washable, but if you would rather do paper napkins, how hilarious and appropriate are these?

5.Why is that cocktails are always so much more tasty when they are served in a festive glass? I can’t get enough of these funfetti bubble cocktail glasses. Perfect for a glass of champagne or your favorite bourbon drink (mine is a maple brown derby!)

6. If you are like me and find inspiration in cookbooks, a cocktail cookbook is just the thing to get you inspired to shake things up and try some new cocktails. This one from Assouline is gorgeous.

7. I know what you are thinking, a mirror over my bar cart? Yes, trust me, not only are mirrors great at making spaces and areas bigger, it also gives you a chance to see how chic you look in front of your bar cart. This mirror from One Kings Lane evokes the Mad Men era with its faux bamboo details and amazing Kelly green color.

8. Everyone needs a cocktail shaker on their cart so why not make it a little more festive in this fun gold?

9. I like using a tray to group liquor and mixers on my cart. It makes it looks organized with very little effort. This one I found on Etsy is just perfect.
